Many famous adults were awkward teenagers. (Look up some pictures of famous stars to show to class). These stars weren't amazingly good looking or popular--but what are some contributions they have made as adults?

Some kids with disabilities get bullied because they are different. What are some things you can do if you see another student being bullied?

Do you know anyone with a disability in your family?

Have you heard about any achievements/accomplishments by people with disabilities?

Name a specific disability and then brainstorm some challenges that this person would face. Then, brainstorm some ways that kids can be helpful to people with this type of disability. (See disability etiquette page http://www.unitedspinal.org/disability-etiquette/)
